The Interculture Language Academy is among the leading foreign language institutions in Kobe, Japan. Our goal is to foster an appreciation for Japanese culture. We offer courses that start from the basic level to the advanced one. The students will learn Japan's history, culture, and traditions while learning the language.
Our students come from over 20 different nations. Not only from Asia, but also Europe, North America, and other regions. With students from such a varied ethnic background, the class uses the Japanese language naturally. Students will have the unique experience of engaging with students from a diverse variety of cultures.
The Interculture Language Academy is located in the friendly city of Kobe, Japan. Located on the Nagata Ward, it is close to public transportation and frequently has restaurants, markets and convenience stores in the area. There are also parks near the school.
Nagata metro station and the Kosoku-Nagata train station are about 200 meters away from the main entrance of the Kagoshima University of International Studies school. Sannomiya station and downtown Kobe are a 15-to-20-minute walk via public transport.
ILA Kobe offers short and long-term Japanese courses, with admissions at multiple times throughout the year. Classes are as short as 2 weeks long as well as as long as 2 years. These programmes are available for students of all levels of Japanese ability.
