The AIP Language Institute is a Valencia school which teaches Spanish as a foreign language. They are member of the National Federation of Spanish Schools and accredited by the Instituto Cervantes Accreditation System for Centres. Perhaps most important, students call it a comfortable, informative environment that really helps them learn a new language quickly and thoroughly.
The AIP Language Institute has a variety of courses with different levels of intensity, from the one-day class for tourists passing through the city to the Superintensive Plus course that goes for 30 hours per week. They strive to give their student individual guidance, with interviews and entrance exams that help assess where you are and how you want to proceed. One-on-one classes are available for those who want to learn at their own pace. There are also special courses to prepare for the exams required for legal citizenship in Spain.
There are two options for accommodations: staying with a host family or sharing an apartment with your fellow students. The host family is the best option if you want to really engage with the local culture, and get that extra immersion that comes from living with people who may not know a word of English. Apartments will allow you to bond with your fellow students, however, and may be helpful for those trying to ease their way into the Hispanophone world. Your apartment will give you your own room with the kitchen, living room and bathroom(s) as communal areas. Residents have a choice of Comfort or Standard apartments; the main difference is the number of bathrooms.
Serving 150 students from around the world at any one time, AIP Languages cite it as an excellent school for anyone to come and learn about Spanish language and culture.
