Debla started its mission – to teach Spanish as a foreign language to people from all over the world – in 1979. The school embraces the latest technologies and combines high-quality content teaching with a very personal approach to acknowledge each personality of every single student.
The location is one of the greenest residential areas of Málaga and with a short 10-minute walk near to the historic center and only 5 minutes to the beach. The beautiful Andalusian style school building adds its own charm is an inviting environment to start your own language journey.
Spanish classes are available for any kind of level from beginners to more advanced skills. Debla offers an online Spanish test to evaluate your skills with them directly, so you know exactly where to start. There are courses for every age and special courses for people over 50.
Choose your style whether you want to have an intense one-on-one training or if you prefer to learn in a highly interactive group instead. Groups are never more than 8 people and in average attended by 5 to 6 students. The intensity ranges from 20 to 30 hours a week. You can even choose specific themed courses if you want to know more about gastronomy and oenology for example, or take the dance course or a guitar course that will add a rich cultural experience.
If you need an official certified course they offer DELE (Diplomas of Spanish as A Foreign Language) certified preparation courses. Business professionals enjoy a special commercial Spanish course program.
Debla offers a variety of additional exciting student activities like excursions to Córdoba, Granada, and Sevilla as well to Ronda or Tarifa. Students love the culinary adventures with cooking classes and visiting tapas bars and the popular wine tasting at Bodega Quitapenas or the well known Spanish beer brewery San Miguel.
For Debla, the quality of your accommodation is an important key element for students to feel at home in every sense. This is why they offer an amazing shared apartment on-site with views to the Mediterranean Sea. But of course, you can also choose to live with a Spanish host family or can book a more private individual apartment or hotel instead.
