Dime (pronounced “dee-may”) is Spanish for “tell me” or “talk to me,” and emphasizes this school’s desire to take students’ specific needs into account. Their wide range of courses in Spanish and Catalan cover such specializations as companies and other groups, people who want specific help with pronunciation or intonation, children and teenagers. This is because, at Dime, students can actually create their own classes! As long as three people want a certain course, they can suggest it to the school and get an instructor to help them.
Class schedules include Intensive (4 hours per week, 145 euros for 4 weeks), Extensive (10 hours per week, 285 euros for 4 weeks) and Super-Intensive (15 hours per week, 345 euros for four weeks). One-on-one and one-to-two classes (with the same price of one-on-one) are also available. Most courses are set during the weekdays, but Saturday classes can be arranged to work around students’ schedules.
The school was founded by two experienced teachers and the team of professors loves teaching. The classes are small (3 to 9 students) and the school also organizes various extra-curricular activities every month so students can get a more in-depth knowledge about the local culture.
