Entrelenguas is a cultural hub located in the Andalusian town of Ronda, Malaga (a short bus / train ride from the city centre.) Founded by 3 friends in 2014, Entrelenguas seeks to promote Spanish language, sustainable tourism and culture through a broad range of Spanish courses, as well as a great variety of activities and events that guarantee authentic immersion of the travellers in the community.
Intensive courses: involve 4 hours of Spanish lessons, 5 days a week, pausing for a well-earned break and café con leche on the terraza mid-morning. Each group has a maximum of 8 students and all of the teachers have Masters degrees so are truly experts in what they do!
Extensive courses: allow you to ease yourself in slightly more gently! These are usually attended by people living in the Serrania de Ronda over a more extended period of time. Classes meet twice a week and lessons are 1.5 hours long, once again with a maximum of 8 students and the same highly qualified teachers.
One-to-one: Of course you can top up your knowledge by opting for some individual classes on the side. You’ll be the centre of attention and can go over any pesky grammar points you’re struggling with or simply practise chatting with a native speaker. These classes are very flexible as they are organised between you and your teacher so can be squeezed in no matter your schedule!
All language teaching is an accordance with the Common European Reference Framework for Languages.
Volunteering: programmes are also extremely popular! Opportunities are available in a range of fields – working with children, environmental projects, social work…
Tourism Activities + Cultural Events:
Of course you have to put all this Spanish into practice in authentic contexts and get chit-chatting! Entrelenguas organises a whole host of events from concerts in their vineyards, to Spanish film nights and group hikes through the valley!
There are also loads of different tourism activities on offer – local cooking master classes, wine tasting experiences, day trips to local ‘pueblos blancos’ (white-towns) + so much more (!) – all in accordance with the Slow Tourism philosophy! #slowlove #slowlife
Entrelenguas has links with local host families in Ronda, but there are also lots of hotels in the town itself if that’s the preferred option!
